In association with its 2016 summer production of The Comedy of Errors, DSF offers apprenticeships for college students who wish to gain professional experience before graduation. Apprentices work with the Festival’s professional directors, actors, designers, and staff to gain hands-on experience both on and off the stage. DSF offers performance, directing, production/stage management, and management/front-of-house apprenticeships. All apprenticeships besides management apprenticeships begin June 14, 2016. Management apprenticeships begin June 28, 2016. The Comedy of Errors rehearses nights and weekends, and runs from July 15-31. All apprentices will be offered a series of Master Classes. Along with the professional DSF technical staff, ALL APPRENTICES will perform set-up and strike duties each day of tech and performances. Modest stipend. College credit may be available.
