Bards Dispense Profanity Game Night – April 23

April 5, 2018 by David Stradley

Monday, April 23 – 6:30pm – Chelsea Tavern

CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP A TEAM

We’re taking one of the most popular segments of our Valentine’s show and making it the star of its own night at our first ever Del Shakes “Bards Dispense Profanity” Game Night.

Here’s how it works: You put together a team of up to four people and join us at Chelsea Tavern on Shakespeare’s birthday, April 23! We’ll divide the room into three heats. Each team will receive cards from our Bards Dispense Profanity deck (the Shakespeare-inspired card game the Washington Post calls “the smutty Shakespeare game you need for your next smarty-pants party”). Del Shakes staff/artists will provide the prompts for a game that plays like Cards Against Humanity. Winning teams from the three heats will move on to the Finals round, where one team will walk away with four VIP Saved Seats tickets to this summer’s Much Ado About Nothing.

The rules: Team registration is $40. Teams can have as many as four players — or you can be a solo team and take all the glory for yourself. Judges’ decision on all gameplay is final.

Cash bar. Cash food too.

Come celebrate the Bard and all of the very, very questionable phrases and ideas he put into this plays at Del Shakes’ “Bards Dispense Profanity” Game Night!
