Del Shakes is using a little bit of iambic pentameter to help us through our socially distant times – posting a reading of a Shakespeare sonnet each weekday. Hopefully we won’t need all 154 of the sonnets!
Actors have been particularly hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, seeing months of productions cancelled overnight. You can buy a “ticket” for the Sonnet Project – and support artists while getting some fun daily Shakespeare. For each $30 in purchases, Del Shakes will pay an actor to record a sonnet.
