UPDATE TO OUR INITIAL A PLAY I LOVE: CORIOLANUS SALON
Although this event was planned to be an intimate affair in a private home, it will still go over the 10-person limit that the CDC recommends for group gatherings during the COVID-19 crisis.
Therefore, this discussion group will now be a virtual gathering via the online video conferencing platform Zoom.
CORIOLANUS
War
Power
Politics
…and mother issues
Producing Artistic Director David Stradley takes you through key moments of Coriolanus, the fierce Roman tragedy of a heroic, polarizing warrior who loses it all when he enters the realm of political power. |
Sunday, March 29, 2pm — using Zoom
$25
Once you purchase a ticket, you will be provided with a link to the Zoom meeting. Join the meeting at the time of the event from a computer with microphone and speaker.
This programs aims to to be the first in a series of salon-style events. In a post-COVID setting, these will be intimate gatherings in lovely Wilmington-area homes featuring favorite Del Shakes artists leading discussions and explorations of plays they hold dear, but might not be on the “top ten” list of most popular Shakespeare.
…Think of it as a great book club with a very passionate guide!
