Do you provide seating?
The event is lawn seating, so bring a blanket or lawn chairs. There are no chairs or blankets available at Rodney Square. We ask that chair backs are no higher than 30″. Seating is first come, first served.
How do I get to Twelfth Night, O Lo Que Quieras in Concert?

What are your COVID-19 protocols?
As an outdoor event, no masks or vaccine status will be required for audience members at this point. Policies may change based on public health conditions at the time of the event. Del Shakes artists will be fully vaccinated and engaged in testing protocols.
What kind of access do you provide to the disabled and those with limited mobility?
Rodney Square is wheelchair accessible, via the entrance at King Street and 10th Street. Other entrances involve stairs or curbs. The seating area is a grass lawn.
Are children welcome?
Yes! We strive to make Delaware Shakespeare productions appropriate for audiences of all ages, but we realize every family must set their own guidelines. If you have questions about an event’s subject matter or language, please contact us, and one of our staff will call and discuss whether it is appropriate for your children. All young children must always be with a parent or guardian.
What should I wear?
In the early autumn, Delaware at twilight can begin warm and stay that way, or just as easily cool rapidly after the sun sets. Please check the weather forecast and prepare accordingly.
Bugs?
Unfortunately, mosquitoes can be fans of Shakespeare too. We encourage you to bring bug repellent.
Do you have a concession stand?
At Rodney Square, we will not have a stand selling food or drink.
May I bring food?
Yes, we encourage you to picnic before or during the show.
May I bring alcoholic beverages?
No, alcohol is not permitted at this event.
Do you have restrooms?
Port-a-potties (including, wheelchair accessible) will be available at Rodney Square during this event.
Is it okay to smoke?
Due to close proximity to others, smoking is discouraged.
May I use my cell phone?
As a courtesy to our actors and audience, we ask cell phones to be on silent during the performances. We do not prohibit phones on the grounds, but ask that all calls be answered away from the performance space.
May I take photos?
Feel free to snap pictures of yourself, your friends, and the grounds while picnicking prior to the show. During the show, we invite you to relax and enjoy the performance, rather than taking a ton of pictures of video.
What if it rains?
Read our full weather policy here. In short: early summer showers in Delaware can revert to blue skies in a matter of minutes. Delaware Shakespeare continues to perform in a light rain. If it is not possible to continue, the performance will be canceled. In cases of extreme weather or lightning within 10 miles, the performance is canceled immediately.
