Nature in Art Classes
Nature in Art and Beyond: Shakespeare, Mini-Book Making & Poetry
A three-part course in creativity with Del Shakes. This three-session course invites curious creators to explore how nature shows up in Shakespeare’s work – and how it can inspire our own. Across theatre, visual art, and poetry, participants will experiment with intuitive, beginner-friendly processes that celebrate play, discovery, and the materials around us. Across all three classes, the emphasis is on curiosity, creativity, and connection – no prior experience required!
Saturday, November 7: Class 1: Shakespeare & the Natural World
Saturday, November 14: Class 2: Art & Poetry in Conversation
Saturday, November 21: Class 3: Art & Poetry Writing

Our goal with our Adult Education Workshops is to get participants on their feet, speaking and staging Shakespeare with confidence. Previous favorites include On-Demand Monologue Coaching (see below!) and our “Performing Shakespeare Weekend Crash Course,” which provides an immersive opportunity to explore Shakespearean text, learn acting and ensemble skills, and experience a quick-turnaround rehearsal and performance process. Whether you’re a first-time player or returning to the Bard after many years, our education programs offer a welcoming, hands-on bridge from page to stage!
