Delaware Shakespeare is committed to providing educational opportunities to people of all ages with a variety of exposure to Shakespeare. Hone your skills as a professional, or learn something new as a lover of the arts, with our Adult Education Workshops varying in subjects from monologue work to directing to writing.
Our goal with our Adult Education Workshops is to get participants on their feet, speaking and staging Shakespeare with confidence. Previous favorites include On-Demand Monologue Coaching (see below!) and our “Performing Shakespeare Weekend Crash Course,” which provides an immersive opportunity to explore Shakespearean text, learn acting and ensemble skills, and experience a quick-turnaround rehearsal and performance process. Whether you’re a first-time player or returning to the Bard after many years, our education programs offer a welcoming, hands-on bridge from page to stage!
