Delaware Shakespeare’s beloved Community Tour is back for 2024! The Winter’s Tale, one of Shakespeare’s later romantic plays, will criss-cross the state for three weeks sharing high quality theatre with the full spectrum of humanity by performing in locations such as prisons, transitional housing facilities, and community centers.
After this epic, state-wide journey, The Winter’s Tale will return home to OperaDelaware Studios for a special Gala Performance, which will feature a pre-show reception with cast members.
Experience this timeless story of family and forgiveness – just as tour audiences saw it in conference rooms, gyms, and prison chapels.
Hear about the thrilling responses to the play, from audiences at such locations as Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution, Sussex Correctional Institution, Easterseals, New Castle County Hope Center, and more.
Support sharing free theatre with Delawareans who may have limited access to the arts.
